Abstract

This is a reissue of a paper which appeared in ACTA IMEKO 1973, Proceedings of the 6th Congress of the International Measurement Confederation, "Measurement and instrumentation", 17.-23.6.1973, Dresden, vol. 1, pp. 11-27.

The paper proposes a clear, synthetic presentation of some basics of the measurement science.
