A new set-up for primary laser vibrometer calibration was developed and tested at the acceleration laboratory of PTB. Contrary to existing set-ups, this configuration makes use of electro-optical excitation. While avoiding the limitations imposed by mechanical motion generators in classic set-ups, the new method still encompasses all components of commercial laser vibrometers in the calibration and thus goes beyond the current capabilities of the purely electrical excitation schemes.Downloads
